Heading Into Spring & Summer 2026 in San Antonio and Surrounding Areas
As we move out of the cooler months and into spring and summer 2026, things start to pick up quickly across San Antonio and the surrounding communities. Longer days, warmer weather, and more time outdoors mean one thing for us at Double D Party Rentals: a busy season filled with parties, events, and celebrations of all sizes.
Each year, this time of year brings a shift. Backyards come back to life, school calendars fill with events, and families start planning birthdays, reunions, and weekend get-togethers. We’re looking forward to getting back out across all the areas we serve and helping customers set up events that feel easy, relaxed, and fun from start to finish.
Working across a wide range of local communities
One of the things that makes our work interesting is the variety of areas we deliver to. We’re not just working in one location, we’re out every week across different parts of the region, each with its own style of event.
In places like San Antonio, events can range from backyard birthdays to larger school and community gatherings. Nearby areas such as Shavano Park and Alamo Heights often bring a more structured, hosted feel, where the setup and layout matter just as much as the activity itself.
Then you have areas like Windcrest, Kirby, and Converse, where parties tend to be steady, social, and centred around family and neighbours dropping in throughout the day.
Further out, in places like Von Ormy, Somerset, and China Grove, events often stretch out over longer afternoons with plenty of space and a more laid-back pace. And in growing communities like Schertz and Cibolo, we see a mix of both, family-focused events with a steady flow of activity from start to finish.
Spring parties turning into summer events
Spring is where things start to build. Birthday parties move outside again, school events begin to appear on the calendar, and weekends start filling up. By the time summer arrives, it’s full momentum.
Water slides become a popular choice across areas like Castroville, Elmendorf, and Adkins, where outdoor space makes it easy to create a full party setup. At the same time, bounce houses continue to be a go-to for birthdays in places like Saint Hedwig and Lytle, where simple, reliable entertainment works best for family gatherings.
Each area brings its own pace, but the goal is always the same: give kids something they can enjoy throughout the day while the rest of the event carries on around them.
All kinds of events, not just one type of party
As we head into the 2026 season, we’re expecting to work across a full mix of events. Some weekends will be made up of small backyard birthdays, while others will include school field days, church gatherings, and larger community events that need multiple inflatables running at once.
That variety is a big part of what we do. One day might involve a single setup in a residential garden, and the next could be a larger layout with several units working together. Because we cover so many areas, we’re used to adapting to different spaces, different guest sizes, and different ways people like to host their events.
Looking ahead to a busy 2026 season
Spring and summer always bring a full schedule, and 2026 is shaping up to be no different. With more families planning ahead and more local events taking place, we’re looking forward to another season of working across San Antonio and all the surrounding communities we serve.
Whether it’s a birthday party in the backyard, a school event, or a neighbourhood gathering, our goal stays the same: provide clean, reliable rentals and make the setup side of the event simple so you can focus on everything else.
